Main Features of UT-WBMP Water Based Road Marking Paint:

Our company was authorized by the Rohm & Haas Company to use its “FASTRACK” brand and its technics, formulation, technology and raw materials to produce UT-WBMP common water based road marking paint and TT-WB0501 reflective water based road marking paint. UT-WBMP reflective water based road marking paint can take the place of thermoplastic road marking paint. Compared with thermoplastic road marking paint, UT-WBMP has outstanding construction performance, excellent reflective performance and good recoating ability. LT-Ⅱwater based road marking paint can take the place of current cold solvent road marking paint. Compared with cold solvent road marking paint, LT-Ⅱ water based road marking paint has a longer service life and better reflective performance. 
1. Abrasion resistance: The unique formulation of water based road marking paint ensures good adhesion between glass beads and road surface and makes the paint with good abrasion resistance and weather resistance.
2. Service life: the overall structure of water based road marking paint has strong adhesion, high abrasion resistance and excellent support to glass beads. After laboratory testing of its abrasion and crushing resistance and road test, its common service life is over 1.5years in downtown area and over 2years in highway (the overseas standards of marking service-life measurement: markings should be recoated when the marking’s reflectivity is below 100MCD).
3. Reflective effect: After marking construction, 1/3-1/2 of glass beads should be exposed on the surface of the marking and its reflectivity can reach to 300MCD. The reflective effect will be better when applying coated or high-reflective glass beads. The reflective effects is obviously better than that of thermoplastic and cold solvent paints especially at night and in rainy day.
4. Drying time: the drying time of marking surface differs from 2 to 5minutes in different weather conditions. This maximally reduces the marking pollution and road closed time during construction.
5. Environmental Protection: high solid content up to 77% (mass percent of non-volatile matters) ensures little volatile gas and contains no noxious solvent. So no pollution will be caused during every procedure of production and construction.
6. Equipment and construction: the spray time and pressure of glass beads should be controlled scientifically during construction according to the coating’s thickness and drying time. Only can the road marking machines with adjustable glass bead spraying pressure and flow rate realize a perfect effect. After construction, the parts such spray guns, nozzles and paint tank need a complete cleaning.
